Letter from the Principal

For local families, opening our new school is a once in a life-time opportunity to form a school, and a school culture, founded on excellence and inclusion in the heart of our community. I’m really excited to work with you to build a vibrant learning community that prepares young people to be successful in 2024 and beyond.

There are 3 core values that will underpin our work at Preston HS:

  • Excellence – Learners engage in a rigorous curriculum that stimulate deep thinking, growth, engagement and action by students.
  • Inclusion – A school that celebrates and promotes the unique talents of every individual with opportunities for each child’s particular interests and passions to be explored.
  • Community – The enthusiasm of our families, students and teachers is harnessed and we maximise the opportunities we have with our exceptional location.

You can find information about our building works underway in 2018 and the refurbishment of the beautiful red-brick heritage building on the Victorian School Building Authority website.
